Your files never leave your device.

Place a typed or image-based signature on a PDF page. All processing is local — the file never leaves your device.

Sign PDF places a visual signature on a chosen page — either a typed name rendered in bold Helvetica or an image of your handwritten signature in PNG or JPG. You pick the page and an anchor (top, middle or bottom × left, center or right), and pdf-lib stamps the signature locally in a Web Worker. This is an electronic signature image, not a cryptographic certificate signature.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this a legally binding digital signature?

It is a visual electronic signature image. It does not create a cryptographic certificate signature or a verifiable audit trail. For legally regulated workflows, use a qualified e-signature service or a certificate-based signature.

Can I sign every page?

One run stamps one page. Run the tool again on the output for each additional page.

Why does my signature image have a white box?

JPG images do not support transparency. Use a PNG with a transparent background if you want only the ink to appear.

Is my signature uploaded?

No. The signature image and the PDF are processed locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
